The Times of Israel (http://bit.ly/11yp4Ue) reports Yaakov Amos, a trauma therapist and former infantryman in the Givati Brigade, says he heard gunshots in the middle of the Amidah prayer. Amos recalls a gruesome scene of blood spattered on prayer books. He says the shooters did not shoot wildly into the crowd, instead, they ran up close to their victims and shot them point-blank in the head.

He says he hid behind a shtender, the wooden podium used to hold prayer books and books of study, and after one of the attackers ran past him, Amos ran out of the synagogue and toward his family across the street.

Another congregate, Joseph Pasternak, says he saw both Palestinian men enter the synagogue – one with a gun and one with a butcher’s knife.  Pasternak says he wasn’t sure what to do at first and felt trapped, not knowing if he should hide or run. After several seconds, he ran out of the synagogue and into a closet in the hallway, waiting for what would eventually turn into silence as the two terrorist were shot and killed.

Resident Sarah Abrams was out for her daily morning walk when she heard about the commotion at the synagogue. As she got closer, she saw a man covered in blood sitting outside and two people who “came out with half their faces missing, looking like they’d been attacked with knives.”

She says the police were stationed at the stairs near the entrance to the synagogue, and as one of the terrorists came out, they fired.

It’s not yet known exactly why the two men from the southeast Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber attacked that synagogue across the city.

An ultra-Orthodox resident of the neighborhood, who only gave his first name of Yossi, said that the synagogue typically puts out coffee, tea and pastries in the morning and many Arab workers in the area know about that. Others suggested that the real target was the adjacent synagogue of the late Rav Ovadia Yosef.

Police are still trying to figure out if the actions of the two terrorists are connected to Hamas or Islamic Jihad, or if they acted alone in a random act of violence.

The US has the capability of getting rid of the vast majority of Arabs in the world in about half an hour. Think about it.

Despite what Kerry and others say, such acts are not senseless nor “random acts of violence.” They are part of a holy war by Yishmael against the Yidden.

Now is the not the time nor is this the place to get into political or hashkafic discussions.

Suffice it to say that the Arabs of Yerushalayim, including these barbarians, know full well that these Yidden are not Zionists nor does virtually anyone from the chareidi camp go the Israeli army.

They were killed for the simple “crime” of being Jewish.

so what is Israel going to do about it?

10,000-1 is the only answer that these savages understand

The entire village should also be destroyed, not just individual houses.

The streets are not safe anymore.

Israel is at WAR,and that demands harsh consequences to the enemy.

NOW LET’S SEE SOME RESULTS BY ISRAEL

The murderers are getting what they wanted. Jewish blood all over television.

The more you show, the faster they want it.

    Doesn’t anyone feel any responsibility?

Gee, the silence from our muslim US president is deafening. I guess his outrage is reserved only for when Israel builds new homes in Jerusalem or the so called settlements. But terror against Jews? Then he has nothing to say.

    “Hide or run…”
I think we need to work very hard to change our mindset.

Yossele, you weren’t there so please just shut up. If you are faced with barbarian savages armed with meat cleavers and guns, lets see which you do first, hide or run, or work hard to change your mindset.
