The Quinnipiac (KWIN’-ih-pee-ak) University poll released Wednesday also shows 61 percent of voters don’t think a mayoral spouse should have a chief of staff.

The poll comes amid scrutiny of first lady Chirlane McCray’s chief of staff. After a string of damaging disclosures about the aide’s personal life, she announced Monday she was going on leave.

The mayor’s office hasn’t responded to the poll.

The telephone poll surveyed 1,164 New York City voters from Nov. 12 through Monday. Its margin of error is plus or minus 2.9 percentage points.

Quinnipiac polls are always skewed left. So the % who think DeBlasio’s “political trophy” wife should keep her nose out of everything is probably closer to 90%.

Yeah. We don’t like it. And he don’t care if we like it or not. He will ignore the naysayers and pursue his agenda created before he took office. The anti Bloomberg groups haven’t had their fill yet. They need 3 years minimum to try their concepts and ideas in the big city. Ultimately they will fail as had Dems in the past. Hang on for the long ride. We ain’t seen nothin yet 🙂
