Shimoni said that in the locations where construction on bomb shelters is being performed by Arab laborers, the work is to be stopped until further notice.
He added that he had ordered the placing of armed security guards for kindergartens and preschools that are next to construction sites that employ Arabs.
“I thank the Ashkelon Police for their cooperation on this matter and the donor who helped pay for the security guards,” said Shimoni.
A spokesman for the Lachish regional police, including Ashkelon, said they have nothing to do with the initiative.
VERY SMART DECISION – Hashem yaazor lecha
Discrimination!!!!
Well, it’s a start
This type of action should have been implemented years ago by all Israeli cities. It could have saved many Jewish lives!
That is the only way to deal with them .Hit them in the wallet ,as they do to the Israeli economy .
I think EY is headed towards the realization that there will have to be much less integration of Palestinians in the economy. The question is whether there are enough Israelis willing and able to step in and do the lower level jobs that the Palestinians perform in the service sector.
all Israeli cities should discontinue hiring Arabs. You do not feed the hand that bites you.
All this talk about stopping employing arabs is just that: talk. Until the Jews are prepared to do the work the arabs do and the rest of the population is prepared to accept the increased costs of only employing Yidden, nothing will happen except more and more talk. Yes, there will be greatly increased costs as well as the arabs are paid the minimum possible. The yidden will not work for that nor do they want the menial jobs the arabs are happy to do. Instead of having an arab filling the shelves in the local supermarket and running to clean the floor when someone drops a yoghurt, and then schlepping up three flight with your supermarket delivery, suggest to your edim that he takes on one of these jobs, at the minimum wage of about $6 an hour.
You do not need proof. They are not suggesting you need proof. No. You are suggesting you need proof, and you don’t.People don’t realize they are hypocrites when they challenge this way. Do you live in a neighborhood with a very high violent crime rate? If you do, then fine; but if you do not, and the reason is because you want to live in a safe neighborhood, before you moved to the safe neighborhood, did you say to yourself, “Can I prove that each and everyone who lives in this unsafe neighborhood is a violent criminal?”
