Teaneck, NJ – A rabbi of an orthodox synagogue in Teaneck is receiving criticism for a blog posted on Friday that states that Arabs in Israel should be “vanquished.”

Rabbi Steven Pruzansky of Congregation Bnai Yeshurun wrote a blog titled, “Dealing with Savages” that states, “There is a war for the land of Israel that is being waged, and the Arabs who dwell in the land of Israel are the enemy in that war and must be vanquished.”
The blog continued to criticize the “the Arab-Muslim animals that span the globe chopping, hacking and merrily decapitating,” and exclaimed that rioters and stone-throwers should be shot with live ammunition, in addition to leveling any village with more than one terrorist.
Arabs should be “made to feel that they have no future in the land of Israel –– no national future and no individual future,” wrote Pruzansky.
Anti-Defamation League head Abraham Foxman condemned Pruzansky’s post, calling it “outright racism and bigotry.” Foxman left Pruzansky’s congregation in 1995 over statements he made.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NJ) said that Pruzansky’s comments advocate for “ethnic cleansing.”
Pruzanksy clarified his statements on Tuesday, saying that when he referred to “savages,” he was referring to the terrorists who killed five people in the Har Nof synagogue attack last week.
“But to extrapolate from that sentiment and apply it to all Arabs or all Muslims is repugnant to me, and a complete distortion of what I wrote and intended to write,” wrote the rabbi. “To the extent that my words could be misinterpreted, I take full responsibility and regret the lack of clarity.”
So he is running scared. Typical modern allegedly orthodox.
These flaming Zionist don’t stop for nothing.True that Arab killers and butchers are savages but that doesn’t give a right for Rabbi Steven Pruzansky to write such a despicable article.
Perhaps Rabbi Pruzansky doesn’t know that since the destruction of the Beit Hamikdash Jews have no biblical claim for Israel. Anyone saying everyday Krias Shema knows that Eretz Yisroel was given to us ONLY with conditions. We didn’t obey those conditions the almighty sent us into exile.
As we say each Yom Tov by Musaf “Because of our sins, we were exiled from our land and driven from our soil.”

Vanquish means to defeat an enemy. When Arabs, aka Palestinians, murder Jews and want the destruction of Israel, they should be defeated. Terrorists come from villages which support terrorism. Defeat Amalek.

The Rabbi’s original statement was correct. Send all the arabs to any one of their 22 Mooslim countries. They need to be with their own people. Because one day they will rise up against us.
The fact that Foxman left his kehillah is a sign that he must be doing something right.

While I don’t agree with Pruzansky’s solution to the problem I read Cair’s comment to be hypocritical for ethnic cleansing” is the goal for many Muslims.
he should be getting a medal of honor its high time to call a spade a spade when will these liberal idiots recognize that would also be decapitated if the chance is there .
better words that should be used is TRANSFER THEM OUT OF ISRAEL and the country will be safe .

Everyone should stop being such bleeding heart liberals. A Rabbi shouldn’t say these things? Why not? These arabs are savages, are uncivilized, and those of you who think that they shouldn’t be called as such are just giving credence to their actions, just like Obama does. Stop ascribing a Western civilization to these murderers. People were beheaded during the Roman Empire, when they were barbaric and now that same barbarism is being played out by these arabs. They deserve every lambasting comment that is said about them, and truthfully, there are not enough people doing the lambasting. Rabbi Pruzansky is just speaking the truth.

He is right. No country has to deal with with savages. The savages in Ferguson, the savages in Gaza, Syria or anywhere else they may be found have no place in civilized society.
