New York - N.Y. Has 2nd-Worst Business Climate |

New York - New York's business climate was ranked the second-worst in the nation by corporate executives in a new report.
Respondents to the report rated New York's business climate as the 2nd least favorable among states in the report, 'A View From Corporate America: Winning Strategies in Economic Development Marketing, which was conducted by New York-based Development Counsellors International.
California was ranked as having the worst business climate, with Michigan third and New Jersey fourth.
Texas business climate was rated the best among the survey's 281 participants, followed by North Carolina and Georgia.
A strong labor market, low operating costs and a pro-business climate were the common factors given by participants in ranking a state's business climate the best.

It's interesting that the negative business climate seems to be directly proportionate to the amount of liberals in the state. Liberals elect liberals, elected liberals enact liberal policy, liberal policy is based on the elected leberal knowing what's better for everyone that the experst in the field such economists, statistcians, doctors and law enforcement officers. The result? A climate that attacks the law abiding citizen trying to make a buck. A great example would NYC health commisioner Thomas Frieden That banned trans fat because people are smart enough to decide on their own what to eat. Insisted on compelling food establishments to go to the expense of calculating and posting nutrition information and all their products, with the belief that will stop people from dying from obesity. Dr. Frieden remains oblivious to the fact that cigarette packaging contains a warning that says "The surgeon general has determined that this will kill you." and no one stops smoking because of it. That is because he is a liberal.
