He dismissed their ability to speak for their rank-and-file members during an appearance Tuesday on the daytime talk show “The View.”

He also criticized the Patrolman Benevolent Association’s petition to ban him from future New York Police Department funerals as “inappropriate.”

The relationship between de Blasio and the union has been rocky since before he took office in January.

It has grown steadily more poisonous in the wake of a grand jury’s decision not to indict a police officer in the chokehold death of Eric Garner.

PBA head Patrick Lynch accused de Blasio of throwing police officers “under the bus.”

The PBA is working on an expired contract.

Del Blasio is a mayor for the community, by the community and of the community. We all know community means don’t we.

So the police kill a man with their bare hands for selling loose cigarettes. They also shoot a guy in a stairwell because they don’t know how to hold a pistol. Now the problem is that the police are upset?

What the New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is delivering against the police department of NYC is much more “inappropriate.” He would do much better if he would talk less.

I’m tired of all the loony lefties deliberately twisting the issues to smear the police. Get your facts straight !! In the Garner case as well as in the Ferguson case and in almost every other case where someone (either black, white, yellow or green) is shot by a police officer during a struggle, the root cause is………. RESISTING ARREST! The answer is very simple. Follow the lawful orders of the police. Don’t fight or try to resist arrest or try to run. The street is NOT the place to debate whether you committed a crime or not. That is what the courts are for. The police have more manpower than you do and you will lose that debate every time. Unfortunately, some people will not listen or comply and choose to escalate things and that is where people get into trouble. Remember, the police officer is only doing his job and he/she wants to go home to their family after work. By resisting arrest, that goal is put in jeopardy. What do you expect the cop to do? Walk away?

To #6 -First of all, PaulinSaudi aleady lives in an Arab country (Saudi Arabia). However, your posting (which was not nice) reminded me of an incident which occurred, when a relative of mine, was walking home from Shul, on Shabbos, with a group of Yidden. They were confronted by some cowardly motorist in a car, who shouted “Why don’t all of you Jews go to Israel where you belong”. The crazy motorist didn’t realize that one of the persons in the group, was in fact making Aliyah, the following day!
