Iranian parliament vice-speaker Mohammad Hassan Aboutorabi-Fard made the comments at an unveiling ceremony in Tehran for a monument to Iranian-Jewish citizens killed in the Iran-Iraq war.

“The explicit stances of the Jewish community in supporting the Islamic Republic’s establishment and their obedience to the Supreme Leader of the (Islamic) Revolution demonstrate the bonds originating from the teachings of the divine religions,” Tasnim News Agency quoted Aboutorabi-Fard as saying.

According to the report, the Iranian lawmaker also praised the country’s Jewish community for condemning the “violent and inhumane” behavior of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Remember this, 10,000 Jews DIED fighting FOR Germany during WWI, their parents, wives, brothers and sisters were within 20 years cremated alive or gassed to death. No Jew should fight for ANY non-Jewish country and if they die fighting for it, they should be banned from burial at a Jewish cemetary. I dont want to die fighting for Barach HUSSEIN Obama.

Any Jew living in Iran today is in serious trouble. It’s easy to talk perched here on my rocking chair, but this is a holocaust waiting to happen, and were I there I’d be doing anything to get the heck out and fast

To all you self righteous folks attacking me, remember this 14,000 Jews died fighting for the US in WWII, 200,000 Jews died for the Soviet Union during WWII, you think David Duke says thanks or Farrakhan or Obama or Sharpton? Me thinks not. to #3 why should I leave if the president of the US is going against the US? I am just saying that when push comes to shove, the Jews WILL BE blamed for ALL the problems and no one will care if Avi Cohen or Chaim Levine died fighting for the US, certainly not the Islamic folks in out midst or the “low income minority underprivileged crowd”. I will NEVER fight for BARACK HUSSEIN Obama.

Jews in Iran are living in strange times. On the one hand, the Iranian government appears to be on the forefront of the Arab desire to wipe Israel off the map. On the other, Jews appear to be well-tolerated in Iran and there are no reports of any pogroms in Iran, even though Jews there appear to be sitting ducks. While it is perhaps true that Jews are considered dhimmi and have to pay a tax to live as Jews, this is not applicable only to Jews – every non-Islamic person in Iran is considered dhimmi and must pay that tax. Hitler didn’t require every non-German to wear a badge, only the Jews. I understand that many Jews have left Iran for Israel and other countries but Iran still has the largest population of Jews in the Middle East outside Israel. Some Iranian Jews consider themselves Persians first and insist that they want to live in Iran. The point here is, the Islamic revolution occurred 35 years ago and there has not been a mass expulsion or mass murders of Jews in Iran. Curious.
