New York – Sharpton: Blaming de Blasio For Police Shootings “Reckless”

    13

Patrick Lynch (C), president of the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association (PBA), speaks to the media outside of Woodhull Hospital, in Brooklyn, after two New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers were pronounced dead, in New York, New York, USA, 20 December 2014. EPANew York – The Rev. Al Sharpton is denouncing any violence against police in the name of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

He also says angry rhetoric that somehow blames protesters or Mayor Bill de Blasio for creating the climate for such slayings is “reckless.”

Sharpton appeared with Garner’s wife and mother Sunday morning, a day after the shooting of two NYPD officers in their patrol car.

The gunman posted messages online saying he intended to shoot two “pigs” in retaliation for the police chokehold death of Garner. He later killed himself.

Sharpton also says he has received nine racist threats on his personal cellphone since the slayings. He is turning those over to the FBI.

Sharpton’s comments comes after De Blasio and the president of the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association, Patrick Lynch, have been locked in a public battle over treatment of officers following the grand jury’s decision in the Garner case. Just days ago, Lynch suggested police officers sign a petition that demanded the mayor not attend their funerals should they die on the job. On Saturday, some officers turned their backs on de Blasio as he walked into the hospital.

“That blood on the hands starts at the steps of City Hall, in the office of the mayor,” Lynch said. “After the funerals, those responsible will be called on the carpet and held accountable.”

To say that condemning the killing of Gardner, since there is one meshugener out there, who killed his wife too for some reason.

So what do you expect anyone who believes the police is wrong to do?

Should any white racist kill blacks, in retaliation for this police shootings, would Patrick Lynch be responsible for that?

I really can’t understand the argument. Police get a perp in a choke hold and he dies, so that’s racism? You mean if the same guy was the same size and resisting arrest the same way but be was white, they think the cops would have let him go? Ridiculous, I expect this from Sharpton, but not the mayor of New York!

this reminds me of arafat and now abbas

condemning violence and suicide bombers. while at the same time congratulating them

the bottom line is when you allow demonstrations to close bridges and roads and while during those protests (which are illegal in nyc without a permit) they chant kill the police etc and then you have the violence during them. u send out a unwritten message to the crazies that this type of behavior is OK.
it is called “incitement” and for that all the people that allow this are guilty

we must have the right to demonstrate. but it has to be within the limits of the law. and when the mayor shows that he is enforcing the law and allows the police to do their job. then he is sending out the message we wont tolerate this.

but when the mayor tells us in public that he warned his own children to be afraid of the police. what is the message.

What a nerve of Al not-so-sharp Sharpton. He is lucky that he has not been arrested for conspiracy to kill police officers after leading a demonstration last week where these bums, with him at the head, clearly said that they intend to kill police officers. He is lucky that the Mayor is a useless panderer. It’s time for all decent people to leave this cesspool called New York.

HE gets racist threats & the wimp turns them over to the FBI? Where were they during the Crown Heights riots that Sharpton fueled? What about the racism that Jews in NY (& especially in Crown Heights) have to contend with every day?

How much longer do we have to put up with this pig?
