Rockland County, NY – The third suspect sought by police in connection with an early morning Black Friday assault spree at the Palisades Mall has been arrested by Clarkstown Police.

18 year old Florend Gjevukaj of Yonkers was charged with Assault as a Hate Crime, 3rd Degree and was arraigned today in Clarkstown Justice Court, with bail set at $25,000. As previously reported on VIN News, two Orthodox Jewish men were among those attacked by the trio, with Gjevukaj, 17 year old Chris Bujaj and 17 year old Ardijan Muhaj, calling the pair “dirty Jews.”
Gjevukaj is currently being held in the Rockland County Jail and is due back in court on Wednesday morning.
In a written statement released this afternoon, the Clarkstown Police Department thanked both the media and the public for their help in identifying the three suspects.
