Brooklyn, NY - Early this morning an elderly man was pulled out from the water by a civilian that found him floating facedown in the water near the boardwalk at Brighton 6th Street.
The 79th-yearu-old man was in cardiac arrest and was transported by EMS while CPR was in progress, but later at the hospital the Yakov Ladizhensky was pronounced death secondary to drowning after he suffered a heart attack. Mr. Ladizhensky came from Ukraine in 1976 and is survived by a son and two grandchildren.

The passer by who found him called 911, and worked CPR on him while getting instructions from the 911 dispatcher. His name was Yakov Ladizhenskiy O"H

Some say the guy was going to the mikveh in the ocean. Nobody knows for sure but this is what is being said.
Hopefull we can go for the next few days without hearing tzoaras in klal yisroel.
