Co-Chief Executive Officers Steve Ells and Monty Moran said in a statement Monday that the employee’s action appeared to be spontaneous. They said it happened at their Brooklyn restaurants on Montague St. on Dec. 16 when a group of nine police officers entered. They said the officers were not refused service, but chose to leave after encountering the gesture while in line.
The executives said appropriate actions had been taken toward the crew member after the Denver-based Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. reviewed video footage from security cameras. They said they could not discuss what actions were taken.
Wondering if Yonasonw thinks this employee should be fired for their despicable actions or their actions are justified under the 1st amendment????
Classy joint.
what if they just put up their hands and didn’t say anything?
This was a dispicable and digusting act and the employee should be fired. We should all honor police officers for their dedicated work and for protecting us because if not for the police we would be dependent on the mercy of such chacters as Bill “Commie” deBlasio and Al “not-so-sharp Sharpton” and these other long haired maggot infested hippies.
THANK YOU SO MUCH MEMBERS OF THE NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT.
