A Palestinian man puts a sign at the gate of the headquarters of the United Nations Special Coordinator, as others attack the headquarters during a protest against the decision by the main U.N. aid agency to suspend payments to tens of thousands of Palestinians for repairs to their homes damaged in last summer's war, in Gaza City January 28, 2015. REUTERSGaza Strip – Dozens of Palestinians attacked a United Nations compound in Gaza City following the world body’s suspension of an aid program for victims of last year’s war.

The Palestinians involved in the Wednesday incident were protesting the decision to halt aid because of a shortfall of funding from donor countries.

The protesters jumped over the compound’s walls and smashed guard cabins and windows. They burned tires and threw stones at the compound’s gate.

The U.N. said it was “outraged by the assault.” It said the Islamic militant group Hamas, which rules Gaza, knew of the planned protest but did not take appropriate measures to protect the compound.

The U.N. Palestinian refugee agency said it needs $720 million to help 96,000 families whose homes were damaged or demolished in the 2014 war.

Can’t help but chuckle…I wonder if the quoted UN personnel are the same people who last summer expressed “shock” and “surprise” when it was “verified” that Hamas was storing rockets and placing launchers in UN schools.

When you assign the fox to guard the aquarium, don’t complain when the fish get hurt.
Where did Hamas store their missiles this summer?
    Just wondering…

Hamas needs the funds to purchase cement from israel in order to rebuild the tunnels that Israel destroyed, and then use the tunnels once again to launch terror attacks against Israel so that Israel will retaliate, and a new cycle of destruction and international funding of Hamas can begin again. This perpetual cycle keeps Hamas in business. If funding slows down Hamas has every right from their perspective to protest and destroy the UN compound since it serves no purpose other than distribution of funds and food to Hamas who are the landlords of the UN compound anyway and they don’t want tenants who can’t pay!

There is no one in the world that can explain better for the UN who Hamas is. Now I hope that they will understand.

Anyone who’d even consider giving any aid, let alone billions of dollars, to these transparent savages, is plain stupid or crazy.

The U N should surely “show restraint” and sit idly by while being attacked. Isn’t that what the world tells Israel to do when they’re being terrorized by these same villains???
