“I feel strong indignation at this inhumane and contemptible act of terrorism,” a grim-faced Abe said in brief remarks to reporters. “I will never forgive these terrorists.”
“Japan will work with the international community to bring those responsible for this crime to justice,” he said, reiterating that Japan would not give in to terrorism.
Uh huh right. What are the japs gonna do about it? NOT A THING!
Here is the difference between Japan’s leader and ours. He is emotionally as well as politically involved. When someone says “I will never forgive” someone you know that they are truly invested in punishing the person doing the harm. Our leader just says words. He truly doesn’t care and I really do believe that in his heart of hearts he feels that Isis has some justification in what they are doing because they are oppressed or some variation thereof.
Send in the Kamikazes
Lets hope Japs become active in fighting this
“Japs” is a derogatory term when used in reference to people of Japanese descent. It may have been appropriate to use such language when the Empire of Japan was an enemy of the United States and its people palpable threats to the lives and security of Americans. This is no longer the case. Japan is now an American ally and a civilized, democratic republic . Its citizens deserve to be addressed more respectfully.
Reply to 2. Abe like Obama chose to avoid the phrase “Islamic terror”
