Long Island, NY – A Long Island woman was forced to pay her cab fare to a driver that yelled “All Jews must die!’” to her in a strange cab ride Sunday morning.

The NY Dailynews (http://bit.ly/1DQZEjm) reports Baila Sebrow, 51, hailed a cab for a ride from the Carlton Hotel Sunday morning, and after he started driving, Sebrow says the driver asked her if she was Jewish. When she said yes, the driver responded with “all Jews must die.” Sebrow says the driver started driving very fast, and at one point, she asked him to take her back to the hotel. He did, but insisted that she pay her fare.
In a lawsuit filed by Sebrow’s lawyer in Manhattan Supreme Court Monday, details state that the driver “continued to yell wildly about ‘death to Jews’ while making a gun gesture towards Sebrow with his fingers.”
Sebrow then called 911, and when police arrived, they told her she had to pay the $30 cab fare and would have to make the rest of her complaints with the city Taxi & Limousine Commission (TLC).
An NYPD spokesman confirmed police response to the incident and said that Sebrow was “combative and belligerent” with police.

Who wouldn’t be combative with police who forces someone to pay for a ride that didn’t occur.

It might be true, but if she has no evidence, she has to pay the cab. You can’t give everyone a free pass, if they claim the driver made antisemitic comments.

All cabs have a dash camera, so if the driver didn’t tamper with it they could pull it up
