Israeli opposition leader Isaac Herzog is Netanyahu’s main challenger in elections next month. On Thursday, he condemned Netanyahu’s decision not to meet with Senate Democrats when he goes to Washington next week, saying the prime minister is “playing politics.”
The U.S. and Israel have escalated their public spat over Netanyahu’s speech, which was arranged without the White House’s knowledge.
Netanyahu accused world powers of rolling over to allow Tehran to develop nuclear weapons. Secretary of State John Kerry openly questioned Netanyahu’s judgment on the issue and National Security Adviser Susan Rice called the speech “destructive” to U.S.-Israel ties.
Hezog and Livini are playing politics too. That being said he should postpone it till after elections. Its only two weeks. Doesn’t he realize that he is hooting himself by strting up with the dems. wahts he going to do under preisdent Hilary?
Don’t worry. This is not Israeli politics. This is the Obama administration interfering with Israeli elections. No doubt about it.
This is what Herzog said: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should cancel his upcoming speech to the U.S. Congress. He will cause strategic damage to ties with Washington.”
This is what Herzog really meant: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should cancel his upcoming speech to the U.S. Congress. He will cause strategic damage to my bumbling campaign to replace him.
He’s just totally jealous of Bibi, that the whole world will be watching his speech and listening to his advice!
Dear people he cannot cancel his speech ever heard of the Purim Megellah, think about it. Who is Bibi, who is the king, and who is Haman??? They are all in this story of Bibi coming to Washington.
