Kiryas Joel, NY - New York State Police were requested to Garfield Road for a large fight that broke out between two groups in front of the main synagogue at location. Hatzolah responded for some aided, one of the emergency vehicles was also vandalized during the fighting.

What Happened was that The Yoenger Brother R' Zalmen went home from his Shul on Garfield Road and the entourage passed by the Main Shul in KJ which belongs to the older Brother R'Aron, while passing by the Zalmen follower's went on the stairs of the Big Shul and Instigated a fight with the people who were in the Big Shul, when Hatzala was called for help the first arriving car was vandalized and the windows were broken out which then escalated a fight.

There's no doubt in anyone's mind that this needs to stop. Naturally you'll find some wild kids in Satmar who love action and don't realize they are only harming themselves.
There's another problem here, obvious after reading some of the above posts. One reader says: "Satmar, Bobov, get a life. While the Eidelleh Klosenborger Tzadik, can't contain his happiness with the recent Satmar fight. Now first off, the Litvishe are unfortunately not any better, just look at Ponivez Bnei Brak. Neither are the Klozenborgers, as is widely know what they did to their own Rov in Yerushalayim.
So the problem is universal, and it doesn't discriminate between different Chasidishe sects, or Litvish for that matter. We all need to better ourselves and teach our children - since the Chadurim are obviously not teaching them - that Violence is NEVER an option.

I have been there a few times and the Limud Hatorah in the Big shul is something you don't see anyplace in the world. the Heichel is full with learning people almost on a 24 hour basis, and for that we give Rev Aron the full credit.
