Tuesday’s Panel Politics poll showed the center-left camp led by Isaac Herzog earning 24 out of parliament’s 120 seats. Likud trailed slightly with 21 projected seats. But with the vote splintered among 12 potential parties, Netanyahu may still be more likely to form a coalition government because of his hard-line backers in parliament.

The poll also found a rise in support for the non-aligned centrist Yesh Atid and Kulanu parties. Without a clear winner, Israel’s largely ceremonial president may also ask the two biggest parties to join forces after the vote.

The poll surveyed more than 1,000 Israelis and had a margin of error of three percentage points.

I hope Lapid wins big time. This will show he is not just a fad. We need to take away the socialist entitlemnet latitude in Israel. In America every hard working family knows less government spending on the poor and lower taxes for the hard workers is how we revive the economy and encourge work. The same should be true in Israel. Those that work should get tax cuts, no taxes on home purchases etc.. They should also get earned income credit or subsidies for kids and free insurance aka medicad or bituch leumi. Those that don’t work should not get free medicad and child family allowances. Or rather should get thos eprograms for a limited amout of time to allow them to find work.
Work should mean both parents working. Sorry no kollel and wife working.

Sorry to you commentary number one. You want to cut kollel men studying Torah. What about cutting 80 million dollars plus the the israeli ministry tourism office spends on advertising the yearly tel aviv gay parade in Germany yemach shemom to get 5000 German homos to bring their evil. What about the governments funding monthly the gaza terrorists and the women off the wall reform rebels.
