Detroit, MI - Police Investigating Death of Jewish Cisco Executive |

Detroit, MI - Police are investigating the death of a businessman from San Jose, Calif., who was attending a conference in Detroit last week.
Police said 42-year-old Ben Goldman was found dead in a vacant lot on Braile Street early Aug. 19.
Police said Goldman had been shot in the neck and apparently robbed because his wallet was missing.
Police said Goldman worked for Cisco Systems as a product marketing director and was attending a conference at the MGM Grand casino, where he was also staying.
At Cisco Systems and at Temple Shir Hadash and at his Los Gatos home in California during his family's shiva they remembered Goldman this week as a man very much full of life and family and song. He had become very successful as a Silicon Valley techie, but also never lost his trademark childlike wonder. He mastered origami as a young teen and still left tips at restaurants with the bills folded in the shape of an elephant.
"He was not a Blackberry kind of guy,'' said his younger brother Joshua Goldman, a 32-year-old hybrid city bus engineer from San Diego. "He had many lifetimes, inside half a lifetime."
Goldman was many things: a husband, a father, an engineer, a mountain biker, a supporter of Israel, and a windsurfer.

Especially that area where he was staying... The streets are always empty from regular people, even during daylight. All you see is some homeless, degenerates, gangs, etc.
I was driving by with a friend, and he wouldnt let me walk out of the car, during broad daylight
