The 386-page report declassified in early February, titled “Critical Technological Assessment in Israel and NATO Nations,” reveals the military, technological and nuclear advancements of Israel in the 1970s and 1980s, with a particular focus on Israel’s nuclear research labs and nuclear structure, reports Jewish Daily Forward.

The report states that Israeli scientists were working on the ability to create hydrogen bombs, which are said to be 1,000 times more powerful than atom bombs.
According to the report, Israel is “developing the kind of codes which will enable them to make hydrogen bombs. That is, codes which detail fission and fusion processes on a microscopic and macroscopic level.”

The report also states that Israeli labs, “are equivalent to our Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore and Oak Ridge National Laboratories,” the labs that played a powerful role in the creation of U.S. nuclear capabilities.

“As far as nuclear technology is concerned,” the report says, “the Israelis are roughly where the U.S. was in the fission weapon field in about 1955 to 1960.”
The report also mentions some of the “ingeniously clever” solutions the Israeli scientists found with regards to their nuclear work, and that some of the technology used for electronic combat were “integrated systems for the Army, Navy and Air Force,” reporting that some of the technology used in Israel was “more advanced than in the U.S.”

American journalist Grant Smith initiated the request to publish the report three years ago under the Freedom of Information Act. The Pentagon took its time to release it, and Grant filed a lawsuit. Now the report – created by the Institute for Defense Analysis – has been released, leading some to question the timing, in light of the recent tension between Israel and the Obama administration.

In addition to the revelation of Israel’s nuclear research, the Institute for Defense Analysis visited both Israel and NATO countries, which are included in the report, but NATO information has been blacked out or withheld.

The report could prove problematic for Israel in its argument against Iran’s reach for nuclear advancement, now that its own history of nuclear research has been revealed.

There’s only one difference between Israel and Iran having nuclear weapons. Israel would only use them defensively while Iran will use them offensively.

Our dear President is showing his true colors. He is a mean and vindictive person. Bibi dissed him and now he will hurt all of Israel. Shades of Haman. He not only wants to destroy Bibi but to destroy all Jews especially those living in Israel.

His actions is just one of many that will put him in competition with Carter as the worst President we ever had.

You can always rely on your good buddy barak dreck hussein to endanger the lives of Yidden.

It doesn’t matter where he was born; it matters where he is now, in the White House, ruining America and endangering our relationships and alliances with other countries while allowing mooslim terrorists to run wild.

    Yemach Shemoi V’Zichroi. Feh!

At the Seder we say that in every generation there are these Obama-Pharoh-Like, copy cats who seek to destroy Israel, and they always end up with the same fate.

And we conclude the Seder, with a special “Blessing” for all the enemies of Israel, at Shfoch Chamoscha, asking G-d to wipe them off the face of the this earth.

It is a Guaranteed Havtacha by G-d, which we can count on it, to be delivered, upon those who deserve it.

Obama yemach sh’mo v’zichro has done it again. What stops him from continuing to flap his gums, especially once he’s thank G-d out of office? This won’t be taken lightly. Other nations with geshmak secrets won’t take it will either.

None of you Obma haters knows how to read, and your grasp of history is pathetic as well. The report was declassified in early February, not in the past couple of weeks when Obama and Bibi were at logerheads. And what set the process in motion was a freedom of infomation act filed a few years ago by a journalist. For all we know Obama was not even aware of this; it’s a nearly 30-year-old defense dpt document. And if any of you thinks the world didn’t “officially” know about Israel’s nukes, well, it’s time you developed a habit of reading books. Israel’s nuclear history, from the building of the Dimona nuclear plant in the 1950s, is well documented and has been the subject of scores of books over the years. Moshe Dayan and Golda Meir were preparing a nuclear option after the first week of the Yom Kippur War when it looked like Israel would be overrun (before Nixon began the massive resupply flights that enabled Israel to win the war). To think a 30-year-old report somehow revealed to the world that Israel has nuclear weapons is beyond ludicrous, but then, what can one expect from the frum community’s Obama-obsessed wingnuts?

Israel never signed a non-proliferation agreement. It’s totallybwithin her rights to pursue nuclear weapons and have them in her arsenal. Iran did sign and is bound by that agreement
