Brooklyn, NY - Kings County District Attorney Charles J. Hynes today announced the sentencing of Pavel Andreenko, 22, to 11 months in jail for spray painting swastikas around Flatbush and Sheepshead Bay on 11 separate incidents. He pled guilty on July 25 to Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, and was sentenced today before Supreme Court Justice Guy J. Mangano.

Andreenko spray painted swastikas on 11 Flatbush and Sheepshead Bay buildings between December 19, and 23, 2007. After each incident, Andreenko called 911 to report the crimes, anonymously. A police officer who knew Andreenko from earlier criminal activity saw the defendant leaving a pay phone after he placed one of these calls. He was later picked up at his home and questioned. After detectives listened to the 911 recordings and recognized his voice, Andreenko was arrested.

Should have got 11 YEARS....Not months. He is an habitual offender, if the police know you that well (by voice) thats a bad sign.

The full story involves this SOB and calls him a revenge seeker who tried to frame his ex girlfriend's new boyfriend. He is also a heroin user. This baby 11 month sentence reminds me of when they caught a 15 year old punk who broke intop Rabbi Hillel David's shul and threw the torahs on the floor and destroyed other religious materials and guess what?
That judge sentenced that bum to write a composition about the Holocaust and that's all.
WHat a sentence!!!

B"H
Glas they caught him.
Jail is cruel.
Why take his life away? He did a very bad thing. Better flogging, apologies, pay for damages and he's out.
