While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is intensely skeptical that international negotiators can reach a verifiable deal with Iran, which has threatened to destroy Israel, some American Jewish groups have backed the international negotiations.

Three participants in the meeting said Obama explained the details of the deal to the group and urged them not to let any internal divisions torpedo a final deal.

He did not, however, explicitly ask them to lobby members of Congress for support.

“Concerns were raised and there was a fair amount of back and forth,” an official who requested to remain anonymous said of the meeting. “There were some folks walking in who support and favor the deal and there were some who have deep, deep concerns about the deal. I don’t think anyone’s fundamental view was changed by the conversation.”

The list of those invited to attend the two sessions Monday spanned the ideological spectrum, including groups like J Street that have been supportive of the deal and more right-leaning groups like AIPAC that have been deeply skeptical.

Of course the so-called ‘Jewish Groups’ included the self hating J-Street…
Why isn’t this group for once denounced from every Jewish faction, the same way self-hating Jews like Norman Finkelstein and N Chomsky are?

no frum jews are supporting president behaima,so lets vote out of congress these liberal/progressive /democrat ‘jewish”politicians who show up at yeshiva dinners and by chasidishe rebbes to get votes but really never stand up to president behaima and defend
    Israel when it counts most.
They may not be self-hating jews, but they certainly do not share or care for frum jewish values and therefore don’t view Israel like frum people do.

It is clear that the “Jewish groups” were afraid of a backlash from the donating public, so the two groups asked not to have their names be made public.
Even Arab-Muslim nations are against this foolish nuclear Iran deal, which rewards Iran for supporting terrorism through both Hezbollah and Hamas.

    89 years after Repackaged 2015 as J Street …shameful!
The Association of German National Jews (Verband nationaldeutscher Juden) was a Jewish organization during the Weimar Republic and the early years of Nazi Germany that eventually came out in support Hitler. It was founded in 1921 by Max Naumann who was chairman until 1926 and again from 1933 to 1935 when the association was dissolved.Politically, the association was close to the national conservative and monarchist German National People’s Party which, however, refused affiliation with the association The goal of the Association was the total assimilation of Jews into the German Volksgemenschaft, self eradication of Jewish identity and the expulsion from Germany of the Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe. Max Nauman was especially opposed to Eastern European Jews, he considered a threat to Jewish integration and to be carriers of a “racist” ideology serving British imperial purposes, while he saw the latter as racially and spiritually inferior.

And we can thank the vast majority of chasidim- (not) , from the rebbes on down, that voted for this low life, not once but twice. All they care about is how much the Democrat’s money they will get. Almost everything else it’s a non-issue. Shame on every single one of them. it’s completely all about the money. just makes me sick.
