Hampstead Heath Superintendent Bob Warnock called the drowning a tragedy and reminded residents how important it was to swim there only during the park’s hours and only when a lifeguard is on duty, reports Ham & High (http://bit.ly/1DLYCpA).

Moshe Yitzchok Greenfield, of Stamford Hill in Hackney, drowned Wednesday after he and a group of young men entered the pond to swim after closing hours and outside of the designated swimming area. Police and rescue officials were on scene at around 5:30 p.m. after being called to the pond when witnesses said
    Yitzchok didn’t surface (http://bit.ly/1D8DtRR).

His body was recovered from the water just before 11 p.m. by specialist officers from the Marine Police Unit.
Yitzchok is thought to have been the son of the late Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Greenfield, a member of London’s ultra-Orthodox Satmar community.

The Yitzchok’s death is the second in two years at the ponds. Vogue photographer Sussie Alhburg drowned in Aug. 2013 after suffering an abnormal heart rhythm while swimming there.

    ת.נ.צ.ב.ה.

Hashem please help us we see that we need your help and can’t manage without you.

A Suggestion… Perhaps: It’s time that we together with all Rabbonim, Rashaya Yeshivas, Gedolim and Rebbes שליט”א, abolish the long Bein Hazmanim and keep it to a real MINIMUM!!!

May Hashem have Rachmonus on all Yidden world wide, and help us do Teshuva to encourage the coming of Moshiach in the near future, Amen.

I think that the Satmar Rebbe R Aron from Monroe already suggested the idea of cutting short the bein hazmanim to a minimum a while ago. kudos to all who will stand to his side to get his idea executed.

The poor mother has to deal with losing a son lost her husband 5 years ago from leukaemia has a grandchild with cancer.
And other zuros in the family.
I feel the same I have bochurim home too
they do have chevruses, however they are not used to so much free time and the cruel the walls. Yes bochurim do put in a heavy load Learning . Bein hazmanim is only twice a year. And 10 days in the summer.
they do need to air out. Unfortunately it often turns tragic. some yeshivas in NY only give 3 weeks for this reason.
May Hashem give the family an abundance of strength. There isn’t a word to describe such a magnitude of zuros that this family has gone through.
