Leaks showed correspondence during Aug. 2014 between Sony CEO Michael Lynton; Stevan Bernard, head of corporate security for Sony Pictures Entertainment; executive assistant to the company chairman David Diamond; and Nicole Seligman, president of Sony Corporation of America, discussing a media report that one of Sony’s cameras were used on a bomb fired by Israel.

Sony told Japanese media that it “does not design, manufacture, or sell weapons or any products intended for use in weapons,” according to the report.

Iran’s Press TV reporter Halla Alsafadi during one of his on-site reports held up a piece of equipment that looks like it may have come from a missile or drone, and says “Sony” is printed on it; she does not hold it up close enough to the camera for the viewer to see if it says “Sony” or not.

The leak comes after former Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chair Amy Pascal added her name to a list of 200 signatures from Hollywood higher-ups last summer supporting Israel during the bombings in the Gaza Strip.

Only in America. I can’t imagine a Chinese company that makes military hardware cowering as the world press launches a political correctness frontal assault on the corporation. Maybe the time has come for the Republican Party.
