According to Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, one of the officers is in serious- to-critical condition, while the other two are in good-to-satisfactory condition.

All three were treated at the scene by Magen David Adom paramedics before being rushed to an area hospital, he said.

As of 11 p.m. the suspect had not been apprehended. During sweeps, security forces located the vehicle used in the incident. Authorities continued to search for the driver.

“Police have blocked off roadways in a-Tur and are actively searching for the suspect,” he said.

Later on Saturday, unknown assailants threw stones at Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat’s car en route to the site of the suspected vehicular attack, Israeli media reported.

One stone hit the vehicle causing light damage, however no injuries were reported.

Once at the scene, Barkat spoke out on Saturday night against the suspected terrorist attack.

“I want to strengthen the hand of the Israeli police and security forces in their operations to protect the city of Jerusalem in general and in the Arab neighborhoods in particular in keeping the quiet. I spoke with the Jerusalem District Police Commander Chico Adari and I am sure the police will lend a hand and ensure that the attacker will be severely punished. I wish a speedy recovery to all those injured,” he said.

Israel Radio reported that 20 Palestinians were injured during demonstrations and riots on Saturday.
