I have yet to encounter a yeshiva that isn’t whining of a cash crunch, or a significant debt, or other financial infirmity. I have served on the board of a yeshiva in the past.

I certainly hope that this yeshiva does not have the financial woes typical of others, but, if indeed this yeshiva is like any other yeshiva, then how did they ever manage to accumulate a sum of $15,000 in CASH in the office?

Just wondering!

Expatriate Owl-

You must realize that the Yeshivah’s clientele is one which operates very much on a cash basis- There is much schar limud paid by mezumonim-

Hence it is not so strange that there be such a large amount of cash in the office-

Tell the Principle to check the mezuzos, and to also check for molesters in that school. not neccesarily in this order.

You think these thieves are so sophisticated that they can break open a safe? If they were, they wouldn’t target a yeshive they would target something bigger. They are most probley some employees working in the yeshive and decided to come over at night.

Are you people so shocked on $15000 in a yeshiva office.

This is the standard daily pocket money for a yeshiva with Millions in weekly payroll.
