Borough Park, NY - Boro Park Shomrim got a call about a white car going around to FedEx and UPS boxes taking out stuff.
The vehicle was followed for two hours, all the way down to 94th Street and 3rd Avenue where they took out stuff from a lot of boxes.
A male perp driver kept on going out of the car and taking the stuff out of the boxes and a female perp was the passenger and watching the stuff in the car.
NYPD of the 66th Pct Anti-Crime responded to Shomrims request, stoped them at the above location and arrested the 2 perps.

Leave't to them they're well trained. i think the stores should request a sunday delivery instead of saturday so these probs can be eliminated.

little does the boro park community know how to appreciate shomrims work, i been following the shomrims accomplishments for about 20 years, the community will never really know or appreciate what shomrim did or is doing every day for all of us, boro park would never be the same without the dedicated shomrim volunteers, we should all thank them, and appreciate their work each and every day , yasher koach to each and every 1 of these volunteers, keep up your good work, shana tova

These express mail boxes always appear very flimsey. For the amount that these services charge, I think that it would be wise to provide stronger tamper proof boxes. Until these boxes are improved, these companys should put bees and yellow jackets into the boxes. These bees should be released when the box is tampered with. The police can just look for a perp with a fabissena punim and simply arrest him if any boxes were broken into around that time. I think this idea is a winner. Shoin.

Kudos to BP Shomrim. I heard they just recruited a handful of dedicated members. A Ksiva Vachsima Tova should only hear good stories.
