A Quinnipiac (KWIN’-ih-pee-ak) University poll released Wednesday found that 44 percent of registered city voters approved of de Blasio’s job performance.

That’s the same approval rating he had in May. But a greater percentage of respondents now disapprove: 44 percent, compared to 40 percent in May. So his net approval rating is lower.

Moreover, New Yorkers believe by a margin of 47 percent to 41 percent that de Blasio doesn’t deserve re-election in 2017.

Mayoral aides are downplaying the poll. They note that de Blasio was recently targeted in a multi-million TV ad campaign funded by the ride-sharing service Uber.

The poll surveyed 1,108 voters. Its margin of error is 2.9 percentage points.

I don’t understand how 44% of voters believe that this moron is doing a good job. Nothing that he does is good for the city. He has preoccupied himself with becoming some sort of nationwide progressive hero. He focuses on stupid minutia that no one cares about in order to bolster his progressive standing among rich donors. He sees this city as a place to run his experiments and see how much attention he can get for future higher office. Apparently 44% of voters are unaware of that.

he is a menace to society ,as he is against small and large business, against hard working people everywhere, and is a socialist/progressive liberal who is only interested in helping those who helped get him elected in the first place:people who are on the dole from the govt and live off govt handouts with no incentive to better themselves

I wouldn’t even call him progressive. Just a bungling fool that strings random words together with an occasional “equality” hiccup.
