Russia - A hotline set up by Russia's largest Jewish organization for Jews suffering from antisemitism is yielding results, according to a new report.

The report briefly listed some of the typical calls the hotline received over the course of September, including a teacher forced out of her job because she didn't want to teach on Saturdays, a young man assaulted by antisemitic police officers, various problems with Jew-hating neighbors in Russia's notoriously overcrowded apartment blocks, and a Jewish man who wanted to find a way to deal with antisemitic in-laws.

According to the report, "Everybody who called was given aid in understanding their legal rights and in writing appeals to state agencies."
