The Times Herald-Record of Middletown reports (http://bit.ly/1Kh49b4 ) the two masked men forced their way into Hudson Heritage Federal Credit Union’s city of Newburgh branch around 8 a.m. Monday as a single employee was preparing the bank for opening.
The thieves raided the bank’s vault after a second employee arrived and fled in a light-colored four-door sedan. No one was injured in the robbery.
Officials say this was the second robbery at the bank in less than nine months. An armed robber took more than $20,000 from the bank in December 2014
