New York - At this time of year, most of us are willing to fork out a goodly sum of money to acquire a beautiful mehudar esrog to honor the festival of Succos. But how many of us realize how valuable the esrog truly is, as a cure for many ailments? For further information, Mishpacha Magazine turned to Jerusalem’s renowned expert on the subject, Uzi Eli Chezi — better known as “The Esrog Man.”

To find Uzi Eli, you have to enter the cacophonous, kaleidoscope-colored world of the Machaneh Yehudah market. Here, every stallholder is a character, but Uzi Eli is a character among characters. You’ll spot his stall by the crowd of people milling around it — satisfied customers coming back for more, and potential new customers, attracted by the claims of Uzi Elis products.

And the claims are not modest; the label on his Pisgat Hateva drink states, “85 percent success with 119 illnesses,” including high blood pressure, menopause symptoms, etc. But what most people come for is Uzi Elis’s esrog products. Of all the natural health products that he sells, the most in demand by far is his famous esrog juice, and his skin cream and spray made from esrogim. Esrogim, it seems, can do just about everything, or so Uzi Eli claims.

According to the Rambam, he tells me, the esrog has seventy medicinal properties. But before we delve into the secrets of the esrog, let’s first take a look at Uzi Eli’s fascinating history, and how he gained his unique knowledge.

sadly, the patented drugindustry has successfully brainwashed doctors and patients into ignoring the benefits of the natural products that HaShem has made availble to us for our continued good health and for healing.

Yes, next time I have a headache I'll just take a bite out of my etrog, instead of that Tylenol that I've been brainwashed into taking.

Every hospital waiting room has the drug NAC on hand to treat people who have gone into life-threatening liver trauma from taking excess Tylenol.

According to the AMA, over 100,000 people a year are killed by hospitals and drugs. The technical term for doctor-caused diseases is "Iatrogenic Disaease."

I don't know about the statistics of the people who die (annually) by taking [prescribed] drugs. But the people who fail to take [real] medicine when required, is much greater. As long as a person is healthy, they can play with "Natural Medicine" and supplements (whose manufacturers and distributors claim to have a cure for everything)! But when someone has a [serious] medical issue, their best bet is still with MDs and [prescribed] medication!
