Washington – Infighting Among Jewish Community Over Iran Accord Has Leaders Weary Of Long Term Damage

    7

Washington, D.C. – The ongoing infighting and escalating vitriol between members of the Jewish community over President Obama’s Iran nuclear accord has Jewish leaders on both sides now calling for peace, and scrambling to a halt the kind of rhetoric they fear may result in long term damage to not only the American Jewish community, but relations with Israel abroad.

NYTIMES.com (http://nyti.ms/1Jodp9g) reports that an announcement by New York Representative Jerrold Nadler (D) in favor of the accord has only served to exacerbate the situation, to the point where both the National Jewish Democratic Council and the Anti-Defamation League issued public condemnations of hate-speech between Jews.

Alternately, three Democratic Jewish House members in opposition to the deal issued a joint statement denouncing the type of “ad hominem attacks and threats” that have followed Nadler’s announcement.

Since announcing his decision, Nadler’s Facebook page has received posts comparing him to a Jewish World War II Nazi collaborator, a “kapo,” while charging him with “facilitating Obama’s Holocaust.”

Greg Rosenbaum, chairman of the National Jewish Democratic Council even raised concerns during a private meeting with Obama earlier this month, asking that he, too, tone down his rhetoric.

“We are on the verge of fratricide in the Jewish community,” Rosenbaum said. “And it has to stop.”

We all remember the rabbis March to Washington to the white house, the year 1943 pleading to save the jews of Europe the president Roosevelt left via the back door and failed to meet with the 600 prominent rabbis. (netanyahu was shown that door too) it’s time to reenact that March again to the white house so they can hear our prayers to hashem and our brethren in Isreal will know that we care for them.

    Yidden,

We have been warned over and over again that there are frima menchen in our midst who care more for the money they are paid than for Yidden and Yiddishe causes.

I won’t go into Loshon Hora. There are Chasidish and Litvish persons in our community who are paid by Nadler and Quinn and other ousvorfs who we should have never elected to office. These “Frima Menchen” tell you to vote for these chazers and toeivahs because that’s what they are paid to do.

Next time someone tells you to vote for someone, check them out on your own. If you own a computer go to Google and look up their own web sites and see what they have to say and who their supporters and endorsers are. That will give you an idea if they are worth voting for or dumping.

I would suggest that you go to the Post Office, obtain a voter registration form and re-register as a Republican or an Independent. That message will get to the politicians in a big way. The politicians will start to listen to what we have to say and won’t take us for granted any more.

    A gitte voch.
