North Carolina – A new poll reveals that 66% of those who support GOP front-runner Donald Trump believe that President Barack Obama is a Muslim and that he was not born in the U.S.

PUBLICPOLICYPOLLING.com (http://bit.ly/1fUZE9w) reports that the poll, conducted by the Raleigh, North Carolina-based organization Public Policy Polling (PPP), shows that Trump continues to enjoy a large lead over the rest of the field, pulling in 29% of the vote as compared to his closest competitor, Dr. Ben Carson with 15%.
Behind Carson are Jeb Bush at 9%, Carly Fiorina 8%, Marco Rubio 7%, and 6% each for Ted Cruz and John Kasich.
According to the poll, Trump’s popularity is drawing from a GOP electorate that is becoming increasingly in lock-step with his beliefs, as 51% favor elimination of birthright citizenship and 54% view Obama as a Muslim.
Does this mean Obama will lead illegal immigrants out of the US and back to Kenya if Trump becomes President?
Well, if anyone had any doubt that Trump’s voters are vacuous, ignorant dolts, this should prove it beyond any ambiguity. I realize that a number of people who leave comments on VIN also claim Obama is a Muslim (no doubt they’re the same VIN readers who leave comments praising Trump to the heavens) but any serious person, whatever his political views , knows Obama is not a Muslim. His father was an atheist of Muslim background and did not raise Obama, who from the time he was a teenager identified as a Christian and, as we know, eventually found his way to the vile Rev. Wright, a “liberation theology” Christian minister. (The claim that Obama is a Muslim because Islam supposedly recognizes someone as a Muslim if he had a Muslim father is ridiculous — Obama’s father rejected Islamic belief and besides, Islam is not an ethnicity or a nationality that can somehow be passed down from father to son.)
Antone who’s read up on Trump’s followers or viewed interviews with Trump’s fans can see for themselves just how lame-brained most of them are.

Trump supporter here. Obama if not a muslim is certainly a muslim leaning individual. And until he produces his birth certificate I have every reason to believe he could have been born outside the USA. Call me stupid if you’d like.

In an April 6, 2011 interview with Donald Trump by Meredith Vieira,Trump was asked if he was privy to the information he claimed to have of Obama being born outside the USA. She posed, “You’ve been privy to all of this to know this?” Trump replied, “Well, I have people that actually have been studying it and they cannot believe what they’re talking.” Vieira went on, “You have people now out there searching– I mean, in Hawaii?” Trump responded, “Absolutely. And they cannot believe what they’re finding. And I’m serious—”
Well Donald, here it is September of 2015, and we’re still all waiting to find out what your so called investigators found out, which is absolutely minus the square root of elephant defecation. Take note that when Trump is asked about his doubts of President Obama being American born during this time of his candidacy, he declines to answer. Only the most ignorant and hateful (the two go together) would align themselves with anyone the caliber of such a chronic liar as Donald Trump.
This article is like candy for me. While I’m very surprised at the high number of stupid people in this study, I am not surprised that they are Trump supporters.
Wasn’t it Trump who rented out an airplane hangar to host the press conference to end all press conferences for the sole purpose of presenting his evidence that Obama was born in Kenya? Then, he told is that the evidence wasn’t ready but that his guys had found irrefutable and incredible evidence…. he still hasn’t show it to anyone.
As for those looking for Obama’s birth certificate, you are nearly twice as stupid. Obama, like myself, no longer has his original, so the state gives you a new one based on the original record. The Republican Governor of the state of HI certified that the one we all saw was a true and accurate record.
The burden of proof is on the accuser not the accused.
Besides, all that crazy, conspiracy talk did was push people to Obama in droves.

If Obana still hasn’t released an authentic birth certificate, why hasn’t Trump revealed all the alleged dirt his “investigators” dug up? THe Republican governor of Hawaii said the certificate is authentic, and of course the conspiracy mongers still can’t explain why Obama’s birh announcements appeared in the local papers when he was born. And I was right when I said most of the Trump zombies are also “Obama is a Muslim” nutcases. Look, if his father was an atheist and had nothing to do with Islam, how does that make Obama a Muslim? To repeat, Islam is purely a religion. It’s not an ehnicity or a nationality. So how does one “inherit” his Muslimhood if he has never been a believer and his father rejucted it as well? And only 29% grant that President Obama was born in the United States. That’s less than the 40% who think Canadian born Ted Cruz was born in the United States!

Can I use the word “evil” on this message board? I want to accuse Senator John McCain of being “evil” in the most real and fundamental way, and want to use this story about Obama as an example. This whole megilla started because Senator McCain wanted to be President, but he was born outside the USA, on a US military base in Panama, so he did two things: First, he got congress to change the law. But that wasn’t enough for this rasha, so Senator McCain started this campaign to tar Obama with his own (McCain’s) psul. Everything about Senator McCain is rotten to the core, there is no shortage of other incidents involving him, and it has been a great blessing to the world that he didn’t become President.
All the above posters who insist Obama’s birth certificate is authentic and the newspaper announcement further makes it so demonstrate they really haven’t followed this issue. All the investigators who have, have demonstrated that his short form birth certificate has no value and that the newspaper announcement placed by his grandparents certainly doesn’t confirm his place of birth only that he was born. The investigators have also come up with many more disturbing facts about this president, like the fact that his mother’s passport is sealed and so are his college records which may very well show he attended as a foreign exchange student. But, what I find most disturbing is that he was not raised in this country and that he is quite simply unAmerican. That should be enough.
