Israel - Two Right-Wing Jewish Extremists Indicted Following Arson Attack In West Bank
Israel - Two right-wing Jewish extremists have been indicted following an investigation by Shin Bet into an arson attack in the West Bank in August.
HAARETZ.com (http://bit.ly/1NfPAVQ) reports that 19 year-old Avi Gafni, along with a minor, face a slew of charges in Monday’s indictment, including incitement, threats, and conspiring to commit a felony.
No one was injured in the attack on a tent near Ramallah due to it being unoccupied at the time, but according to investigators the word “revenge” was spray painted on a nearby rock.
Reps for Shin Bet on Monday called Gafni—-who has been living in the Baladim outpost despite administrative orders to leave the West Bank—-a “violent hilltop activist” and said he belongs to a Jewish terror group that is behind the attack.
