Israel – Henkin Murders Spark Dozens Of Protests Nationwide In Israel

Israel – In response to the brutal murders on Thursday of Rabbi Eitam and his wife Naama Henkin at the hands of Fatah terrorists, thousands of Israelis took to the streets on Friday as dozens of nationwide protests sprang up, calling for an end to Arab terror and a stronger national unity.

At least 150 protesters blocked major intersections along Netivot and Sderot near Gaza, while hundreds from Kedumim slowly made their way towards the Arab village Kafr Kedum to show solidarity with the funeral procession for the Henkins.

Across the nation protesters shut down traffic in Jerusalem at the Chords Bridge, Bat Yam’s Eli Cohen intersection, Shilat junction and numerous other locations.

At the Prime Minister’s residence in Jerusalem, Samaria (Shomron) Regional Council chairman Yossi Dagan convened a vigil, pledging to remain until the State of Israel acts to stop the terrorist acts that have been escalating for months.

“I’m not going home after the murder,” Dagan promised. “Yesterday, for us, in terms of all of Israel, saw a red line crossed, and we will not be silent and go through the motions.”
