Jerusalem - 15 Year-Old Stabbing Victim Recalls "Miracle" That Saved His Life At Hands Of Arab Terrorist
Jerusalem - A 15 year-old stabbing victim recalled on Sunday from his hospital bed the “miracle” that saved his life after he was ambushed and attacked by an Arab terrorist while walking towards Old City from yeshiva Saturday night.
ISRAELNATIONALNEWS.com (http://bit.ly/1QScxOA) reports that Moshe Malka said that after leaving yeshiva he and a friend were headed towards Old City when they spotted a suspicious Arab near the Damascus Gate who “looked as if he’s waiting for something to happen.”
From his hospital bed at Shaare Zedek hospital, Malka said the Arab “then began running toward us with a hand in his pocket. We started to run away, I got stuck on the sidewalk and he ban to stab me.”
Malka said he never felt blood until he touched his shirt and that a friend intervened and sprayed the terrorist with tear gas.
According to Malka the terrorist managed to get away, but he was notified by Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat early Sunday that security forces had in fact caught and killed his attacker.
“I thank God I was saved,” Malka said, while also praising his friend for coming to his aid.
“I survived through a miracle. If my friend had not sprayed him with tear gas he would have continued to stab me.”
