Jerusalem - Hundreds of Israelis—Jews, Arabs, and Palestinians marched through the center of Jerusalem calling for an end to the current round of violence and calling on people to support coexistence and a solution to the occupation.

The event, which began on Facebook, organized for people to come from Tel Aviv and Haifa as well.

Representatives from Jerusalem’s Hand in Hand school - a bilingual Hebrew Arabic school which promotes coexistence, spoke at the event as well as representatives from other peace interest groups including the forum for Israeli-Palestinian bereaved parents for peace, reconciliation and tolerance.

Hadil, an Israeli-Arab from mi’ilya in the western galilee, said she came because of her belief in the importance of Arabs and Jews standing together. Although she added that despite the good nature of the event, it doesn’t attract all the people it should.

“Sometimes Arabs think that the peace the jews talk about is not the same peace Arabs talk about - some Jews also think this and don’t come.”

It would help like a "Toitens Bankes" it is the left that brought this horrible situation to Israel, by giving its enemies self rule, education (inciuding how to build bombs) favorable media, political advice, legal support in Israel and abroad. Barbarically championing their cause and inciting them to take action, including violent , to assert their "grievences" . I also suspect that they are behind the current turmoil since they are out of the Government coaltion. I dont know who is worse of the two. It is also high time for the frum community to have its own lntrospection since the terrorists are targeting primarily religious people, while diseminating lies and distorted facts on their social media sites. Could it be that because loshon hora and lying became a heter by us ? The mussar sforim are telling us, that what you do, that what you get back.

A healthy democracy has peaceful protests by those not agreeing to the government policies. If one agrees or not it is their personal right. However to those against the rally what was reported here that you do not agree with?

"Jews, Arabs, and Palestinians" how stupid ist that? Or would you like to underscore that the "Palestinians" are an invention of the antisemite propaganda after the war in 1967?

A lot of our stupidity is no different than Palestinian stupidity. Especially in the right-wing circles we still whine about how Palestinians are a fake nationality, never had a country, should go back to Syria, Jordan or whatever. Arab-Israeli conflict is ongoing for 100 years now. There are numerous treaties and legal frameworks that recognize Palestinian and Israeli lands. All Israeli administrations going back to 19th century agreed and recognized Palestinians.
Sticking your head in the sand and spitting out the same talking points is not going to make 4 million people go away from Gaza and West Bank, no matter how much you're going to claim longer history to the lands. Palestinians are here to stay as an identity. The entire international community recognizes that. So good luck pretending that you can solve this conflict by continuing to deny Palestinian-Arab identity after 100 years of violence.

You're no yid, who are you kidding? These Israelis are a bunch of leftists self hating ignoramuses who believe if we'll only give the Palis enough Israeli land, they'll suddenly be content, love us and turn peaceful. What a crock. Anyone who believes in the Torah can see the truth written so long ago about how Yishmael and Eisav are eaten up with jealousy and hatred of Israel, and it will never change no matter what!
