Raboysy: it feels like in Germany 1939. Wake up. The only remedy is to go out and vote. Every one take five more people with you–so we at least might have a chance that NY would go for Macain.
There is already the FBI, ATF, DEA, NSA, Secret Service, Coast Gaurd (It’s pard of DHS) plus state and local police who generally fall in line when the Feds come knocking.

Move to Israel. In NY and NYC your vote for MCCain is a waste. Based upon the electoral system that is used in the USA, NY will go for Obama. You cannot refute that. Therefore by voting for MCCain you accomplish several things:
1. You tell the Democratic Party – that rules NY that they should NOT pander to you or the FRUM community.
2. You tell your local representatives that you don’t support them or their colleagues. They DONT have to pander to you.
3. You weaken the force of the Jewish Vote by showing that we DONT vote as a block. And since we don’t vote as a block we don’t need to be pandered to.
So when things, like road repair, street lights, garbage collection, street cleaning, and other local services don’t seem to be provided as quickly as they should be or used to be ask yourself why? If you don’t support your local officials and the people they support why they should jump faster for you.
There will be arguments to refute the above but you cannot claim the statements above are not true.
If you want your vote to count then move to a state where a small number of votes can swing the outcome. NY is not going to swing Republican. NJ might, FL might. Good Luck

What is Obama talking about? I think he wants to form block committees — organizations set up even on the local level, supposedly just neighbors “protecting” and helping” their friends and fellow neighbors — but in reality, acting as the eyes and ears of the government, ratting out anyone who expresses contrary views or otherwise doesn’t “get with the program” so they can be targeted for official retaliation (initially, harrassment, IRS investigations, etc; eventually, property confiscation/arrest/imprisonment). They thus have a chilling impact on any potential local resistance to the government’s actions. Lenin and Stalin did this in the USSR, where they were known as “soviets,” or “workers’ councils”. Castro did the same thing when he came to power in Cuba. Obama is too clever to call them “soviets” or anthing leftist-sounding — so he appeals to our post-9/11 insecurities by calling it a “civilian security force.” You think it’s aimed at watching for potential Muslim jihadis — but it’s really aimed at YOU.
