Brooklyn, NY - Hatzolah Member Stabbed In Crown Heights

Brooklyn, NY - A Crown Heights Hatzolah member is in the hospital after being stabbed in the back while walking down Eastern Parkway tonight.
Binyomin Lifshitz of Crown Heights Shomrim said that the victim was on Eastern Parkway near Rogers Avenue when a male black passed him and then stabbed him in the back at approximately 8:30 PM. The assailant fled towards Nostrand Avenue.
The 34 year old victim was taken to Kings County Hospital where he is currently being treated and is speaking with police.
“He is alert, conscious and walking,” said Lifshitz.
It is unknown if anything was said during the incident. The assailant, is believed to have been wearing a black hoodie and may have been wearing a mask at the time of the attack.
Dozens of police officers are on the scene. More details will be posted as they become available.
