Brooklyn, NY – Less than 12 hours after a Hatzolah member was attacked by a knife wielding assailant on Eastern Parkway, a 49 year old man was assaulted just over a mile away in what police are looking into as a possible bias crime.

This morning’s assault took place at 5:45 AM in front of 645 Lefferts Avenue, with the assailant approaching the victim, knocking his phone out of his hand and punching him in the face. Police said that no words were exchanged during the incident.
A sector car that was in the area responded immediately, arresting 36 year old Christian Rojas at the crime scene. Rojas told police at the time of the arrest that he was “fed up with the Jews.”
“Hate Crimes is looking into it to see if it is a bias incident but they haven’t made that determination yet,” an NYPD spokesperson told VIN News.
No charge have been filed yet against Rojas and police could not say if he had a prior arrest record.
The victim, who sustained a bloody nose, refused medical attention.

Police said that they could not say if this morning’s incident is related to last night’s slashing, which left a 34 year old Hatzolah member with a two to three inch slash wound in his back, as previously reported on VIN News. The attacker in that incident is described by police as a male black wearing black jogging pants and a black hoodie.
A $5,000 reward has been offered by Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams for any information leading to an arrest in the attack.

I have always marveled at the media reports that describe how the suspect was dressed. These animals pay attention to the media, having made it to stardom. They simply change their pants to those of another color, or the same for the hoodie, or whatever else. If they are described as bearded, they may shave. The public is then looking for something that no longer exists, and the publicity facilitated that.
Hope this guy is found quickly, and neutralized.
