Jerusalem - A 21 year-old Israeli bride-to-be who lost her father and brother in a terror attack last week says she and her future husband “will not be crushed” and that their wedding is back on, only this time the “entire nation of Israel is invited.”

ISRAELNATIONALNEWS.com (http://goo.gl/deuwVV) reports that Sarah-Tehiya Litman, whose father Rabbi Yaakov Litman and brother Netaniel were murdered on Friday by terrorists on their way to Shabbat Hatan, extended the nationwide invitation on Tuesday accompanied by a quote saying, “Do not rejoice over me, my enemy, for I have fallen but I have gotten up.”

With her husband-to-be, Ariel Bigel, by her side, Ms. Litman said, “This evening, instead of wearing the bridal dress, I will sit on the floor with a torn shirt. But very soon, we will marry in a large and happy wedding. We will go on and be happy as Father and Netanel always were. We will not be crushed.”

“This will be the million-person wedding,” said the couple. “Multitudes will come to make us happy.”

Oy nebach nebach G-------D have mercy on all Jews and on this broken family. We should all cry for this family.

But unfortunately if you listen to what she says we can see how much she is Nebach brainwashed by the Zionist ideology. She says "there is no security and the Arabs drive and behave like animals". Agreed.
Why should any normal person normal Jew live among animals who are seeking to kill them on a daily basis?

Pikuach Nefesh doesn't seem to exist by right wing Zionist. To them it is almost worth to be killed for.
How many more Jews must be killed for an Ideology which goes against Hashgacha Pratis.

You really need to go see your local Rav and also a psychiatrist. Your hatred for the people of Israel far exceeds any normal Jewish response. What did they ever do to you? You are accusing this girl who is now sitting shiva of being brainwashed. Wow. You should get some real help and maybe then you will see the world as it really is. I really feel sorry for you

So is your point that they should leave E"Y?
IMHO, I think that even if there were no "settlements,' and no West Bank & Gaza, we would still be seeing attacks against Israel.
Lastly, not all believe that being in E'Y is against Hashgach pratis.

Maven of Nothing,

Who needs your nasty comments that just insult others? This brave, "brainwashed" Kallah is building a new home in Klal Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael. You're just an insufferable jerk that wants to sit back in comfort and fling ignorant barbs at others. You don't even have the decency to just wish the Chosson and Kallah well!

Who says YOU are any safer than they are? Your constant, smarmy, know-it-all attitude demonstrates that you have no Bein Adam L'Chavairo, which Chazal tell us is required to be saved from Chevlei Moshiach.

You think you can comment on everything because you once looked in V'Yoel Moshe? The only Nebach here is you, Am Ha'aretz!

I am sure that your kind Jewish heart feels sorrow for this family and that is why you are upset that they live in a dangerous place. However, most people do not know that nearly ALL the cities where chareidim live today were once very dangerous. The only reason they are not dangerous today is because brave pioneers moved there (not only Zionist pioneers but also non-Zionist inhabitants from the old Yishuv) built cities there, and built an infrastructure including police. Meah Shearim was a wasteland of Arab violence until it was built into neighborhood in the late 1800's. The same for Bayit Vegan, Beitar, Kiryat Sefer, and Beit Shemesh. All these were very dangerous due to Arab attacks until groups of courageous Jews built neighborhoods there. The only way to build safe cities in Eretz Yisrael is to stop being afraid of the enemy. Hashem will give these brave pioneers bracha and hatzlacha as they fulfill the mitzva of yishuv Eretz Yisrael and pave the way for safe cities for future generations. .

This Kalla is so wonderful because she sees something bigger than herself, a nation of Hashem's people living in Hashem's back yard and eagerly awaiting Moshiach. If it does not happen in her life at least she will have added to the children of Hashem who are engaging in Torah lives in Israel. A life like that is valuable whether it lasts 18 years, 42 years or 120 years.

You are a caring Jew who is concerned and worried about Jews who you think are putting themselves unnecessarily in danger. It is important to remember that the entire Eretz Yisroel was dangerous until a large number of Yidden moved in and built cities there. Second, when the Yidden came to Eretz Yisrael from the Midbor, Hashem commanded them with many mitzvos to destroy the evil shivas ha'amim and to follow the mitzvos on dealing with the other evil nations living in the Land. The entire Sefer Yehoshua and Shoftim tells how the Yidden fought many battles to capture Eretz Yisroel. Ma'asei avos simon labonim. Just as we had to fight dangerous battles to capture Eretz Yisroel in the past, we have to have mesiras nefesh to struggle to attain it now. Eretz Yisrael is not given to us on a silver platter. We always had to struggle to be zoche to acquire the tremendous gift which Hashem has given us: our beautiful, holy Eretz Yisroel.

Though I do not agree with Maven, I do not think he is a "filthy, neturei karta apikores" He seems to be a caring Yid with a good heart who feels pain that Jews are endangering themselves by living in dangerous places. You may or may not agree with him. But please, let's stop the hatred, sinas chinam, and ugly name calling. Our main problem today is that we lack unity, achdus, ahavas Yisroel. Let's work on improving our midos, loving our fellow Jews, having an ayin tova, and judging others favorably. That is exactly the point of this historic wedding in Yerushalayim. This extraordinary young couple want to bring all Klal Yisrael TOGETHER at their wedding, to proclaim the message that we, the special Am Yisrael, will with Hashem's help, ultimately rise from all our trials and endure forever. Am Yisrael chai!

The fact is that the talmidim of R' Tzvi Yehuda Kook believe that living in the shtachim is a fulfillment of the mitzvah of kibush ha'aretz which is a special mitzvah of milchama that allows for putting lives in danger in order to settle the land. Many of the settlers live by this shittah and they knowingly bring themselves and their innocent children into life threatening danger on a daily basis. Although it is heartbreaking to watch, it is also sad to watch young innocent people live lives that run against the basic principles of yiddishkeit as most gedolei Yisroel interpret it. The fact that they are dedicated so strongly to this cause with such a temimus makes it only sadder.

I leave the shaping of history to Hashem. I trust that He knows what He is doing. If Hashem blessed us with the creation of a Jewish state after the Holocaust, and He returned millions of Jews to its shores; blessed us with incredible victories, agricultural flowering, and the fulfillment of many prophecies, I trust that this is His will. Some rabbanim had their own ideas about how the Jewish people would return to Eretz Yisrael. But rabbanim, no matter how great, are only human. Yours is a very superficial understanding of the issues. I advise you study the many works written on this topic (from both sides of the aisle) before coming to such a conclusion.
And even if you were correct, there is very little room to support settlers who put their families in danger in order to show sovereignty over the land. Their outlook is based on a fallacy and the jewish blood spilt, to a great extent,is on their hands. Emotions of Jewish pride and Jewish sovereignty are not a valid enough reason to destroy families.

The fact that they are dedicated so strongly to this cause with such a temimus makes it only sadder.

why do you have to criticize this brave woman who accepted her great loss with grace and belief in Gd? what standing do you and the other idiot Maven have to push your childish agendas here?

"the truth is" I don't believe a word you're saying. And you're the one who brought up "basic halacha" as an issue.

no one as ignorant as you sound could have done the things you say.

I have nothing to prove to you. your ignorance speaks for itself.

I have nothing to prove to you. However, if u agree to apoligize to me I am willing to set up an email for us to communicate and meet and i will 1)verify for you exactly what i claimed and 2) show you the basic halachic sources for you to begin your quest for the truth. Like i said, from my background it was hard to face the fact that i was living a life of lies, but if you actuall pursue the truth you will find it.

As usual, you won't deal with the issues. Just say the word childish and hope that everything goes away.
