DNAINFO.com (http://dnain.fo/1UsV9lQ) reports that insiders say a portion of the available 138,000 square-feet, a section located on the building’s south side along President’s Street, will be sold to a developer for the construction of 12 private townhouses.

A parking garage currently located along the building’s east side will be razed and replaced with rental units broken down into a ratio of 50% market rate, 30% for middle income, and 20% lower-income.

The armory’s main building, replete with its iconic domed roof, will remain, housing a swimming pool, three basketball courts and an indoor soccer field which will be operated by the Flatbush nonprofit CAMBA and remain open to the public.

Rabbi Niederman where are you when we need so desperately housing in Wiiliamsburg?
There are the Bedford Gardens where in the last ten years or so almost no Yid got an apartment only those with Protekzia.

Loads of apartment complexes are being built by greedy Heimishe developers that only the rich can afford.

Rabbi Niederman, the cemeteries in Lithuania can wait a bit.We the poor here in Wiiliamsburg are begging for the help. And you can do it.

Greedy means that in Williamsburg where thousands of frum families reside and are so desperate for housing they cant afford big rents or buying an apartment. And lets say there is a property for sale for ex amount.Comes a greedy developer who is already a Millionaire and offers the seller a better deal.Because he knows that people have no choice and want to leave in Williamsburg and he would be able to rent or sell at any price. All the money legally ripped off our dear brothers and sisters.
This is called greedy, shameful, disgusting a Shanda.

ALL developers are the same. I dont mean anyone in particular.

Saying “move to Monsey,Monroe,or wherever is non-sense

Remember, there is world to come and Is Din V’eis Dayan. All the cries from men and women who cant make it goes up in Shomayim. Its a play with fire.
