“Despite vigorous efforts to save him, the wounded man has passed away. The hospital extends its condolences to the family,” Shaare Zedek said in a statement.

He has been identified as Ofer Ben Ari, a 40-year-old resident of Jerusalem.

He is survived by his wife and two children.

The news came just moments after Shaare Zedek Medical Center announced the first fatality, Reuven Birmacher, 45, a father of seven from the town of Kiryat Ye’arim.

A third victim in the attack is currently undergoing surgery at Hadassah Medical Center. He suffered serious stab wounds all over his body but is defined as stable.

It's the Israeli left...B'tslelem and the Ben Ami gang that are to blame for this situation. Where is the expression of indignation from the secular Israeli public? I have heard much about the vicious street gangs of Tel Aviv. Time to let them loose

Why no guns for civilians? Perhaps the government should be put in 'administrative detention?' If one make 'Aliyah' he/she must wait 3 years to get a license, plus other conditions! I know a lawyer who won't make 'Aliyah' without a gun permit issued in a few weeks.

It is time to double & triple our Tzidaka, to intensify our tefilah to H"KB, to make sure that we are the best Yidden we can be & beg Hashem for Mosiachs arrival. In the meantime we must treat the arabs for what they are. A murderous bunch of blood thirsty savages. What would the world say if a Yid did the same thing, we would be condemned in the world court of public opinion. But a piece of garbage useless Arab murders a Rabbi, the father of 7 children and what is said? NOTHING! Schvartzes march that black lives matter, the head schvartze says nothing, Jewish lives matter! All lives matter
