As previously reported on VIN News, the 55 year old victim was walking on Avenue M just before 1 AM on Monday morning when he was approached from behind, viciously beaten and then robbed.

The entire attack was captured by a private camera and police appealed to the public for assistance in apprehending the two assailants.

Their names are Slavic, but they could also be Christians. This smells more like a mugging than a hate crime. Before you draw conclusions, let the police do their work and let the truth emerge. In our Flatbush neighborhood, we usually don't have problems with any group, because unlike other Yiddishe ghettos, we don't stereotype and treat each human being individually and with respect. It has been my experience as a professor that these young people generally give me more derech eretz and pay more attention than certain spoiled young people of our own kind.

Sorry, Professor
It seems as though you are on an ego trip. You could be a Professor but unless your field is related your writings have no extra validity.
I am not sure that names including Hussein are so definately not Moslem.
Your experience might be valid in a classroom, the thugs that did this brutal beating do not seem to be showing Derech Eretz. I hope never but when was the last time you or a colleague was brutally beaten up be spoiled young people of our type.
Everything I have stated hinges upon a case proceeding and the alleged perpetrators being found guilty.

Listen Mr. Professor, get off your high horse. These two THUGS could very well be model students in your accounting class and be charming to their Jewish professor to get higher grades while at the same time splitting open a fellow Jew's head at 1am.

Kudos to the African American Woman NYPD Detective and her partner for busting these 2 Bosnian local criminals who preyed on a local Jewish neighbor who could not defend himself. Since Yidden refuse to take the necessary means to protect themselves it would behoove well mean shuls to do away with midnight Minyomin. Better to miss a minyan than be a statistic.

No, it's NOT a coincidence. Would they have mugged a fellow Bosnian and smashed his head in almost killing him for the fun of it? Wake up Yidden, YOU are not safe even in your fool's paradise of Flatbush.

Looks like these two pigs have no other items in their closet besides sweatpants and sweatshirts. Jews should keep that in mind while walking at 1am.

Im curious whether the reward worked to have them brought to justice or whether cameras were followed or what? And why are two women detectives geting the credit? What did they do?
Do they have prior records? What do their fathers do? Drive taxis? Will the 17 year old be charged as an adult?
Whay not sue their parents for responsibility of their children, the 17 y.o. at least, and for harboring fugitive?

I'm just fine where I ride. These perpetrators would be not be my students, because they are too young. Second, since you are clueless about how colleges award grades, please be advised that there is no component for attendance - so regardless of how much a student smiles at me it is irrelevant in the computation of their final grade. The students of Slavic background who are in my classes are usually eager to learn and are well behaved, in spite of your attempts to stereotype.

The one who's on a trip is you. My students don't beat people up. Whereas our own kind might not get physical (unless they were retained to help out in a get situation), some of my colleagues have had bad experiences involving unserer being caught cheating on a final exam, who when confronted and having their exam paper confiscated, decided to get even with the professor by going on social media to accuse him of being a child molester.

Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house...
