A bank robber now connected to 16 heists around New York City passes a note to a teller demanding cash, the NYPD major case squad said Friday.

Surveillance and evidence from the different locations across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens have been analyzed, and the NYPD said it appears to be the same man behind all 16 robberies.

The suspect does not wear a mask during the heists. The robberies began in March at the Sovereign Bank on Third Avenue near 63rd Street in Manhattan. The most recent robbery was earlier this month at another Sovereign Bank, this time on Smith Street in Brooklyn. Police released this list of the targeted banks, but has not said how much money was taken from each location.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

The bailout is 700 billion, not 700 million.
