Williamsburg, NY - NYPD detectives from the 90th Pct. are on the hunt for what they described as a Hasidic woman who snatched two sets of earrings from a Lee Avenue jewelry shop on Nov. 11.
The crook snatched the gold and diamond trinkets — which are valued at about $1,400 — at around 4:10 pm, then fled from the shop, which is between Hooper and Hewes streets.

As a business owner in Brooklyn, I will state the obvious;
1, There are, unfortunately, kleptomaniacs within the frum community. We were victims of one that was not from Willy but could change her look to match any community.
2, These things happen and Willy in particular trusts blindly as long as you look the part.

I think I know who the perp is but I need more information as to the height and other small details before I call the detectives. If VIN or any other reader can give some more info it would be helpful. There is a know ex frum person who has done this in Boro Park the last few months and I have a feeling it's the same person.
