The 19-year-old was to be buried in the central Israeli city’s military cemetery.

Among those paying their last respects to Cohen were her fellow Border Police colleagues, who were seen in tears congregating and hugging.

Cohen’s partner, Ravit Mirilashvili, who was wounded at the scene Wednesday left the Jerusalem hospital that had been treating her in order to arrive with her family for the funeral.

Three Arab terrorists wielding machine guns, pipe bombs and knives perpetrated the attack on Wednesday. All three assailants were shot dead at the scene.

Cohen died of her wounds sustained in the attack shortly after being rushed to Hadassah-University Medical Center at Mount Scopus.

Following the deadly attack, security forces made a number of arrests in Kabatiya overnight between Wednesday and Thursday, operating in the West Bank village near Jenin from which three Palestinian terrorists launched Wednesday’s attack the Border Police officers.

The IDF has placed the village under a semi-closure, allowing all humanitarian goods and passage, but placing restrictions on ordinary movements by residents in and out of Kabatiya.

Furthermore, IDF Engineering Corps units mapped out the homes of the three terrorists in the village ahead of their expected demolition.

When it comes to protecting her young, a lioness can be one of the most fiercely protective mothers in the animal kingdom, risking life and limb for the safety of her cubs. Hadar Cohen H”YD will, G-d only knows why, never get to be a mother of children in Olam Hazeh. But she was a true lioness of Klal Yisrael, giving her precious life for the defense of her people. She has joined the ranks of Kedoshim in Gan Eden…may the wings of the Shechinah protect her, and provide solace to her grieving family, for all eternity.

Notice when Jews bury they cry, when Arabs bury they are angry and riot. Hopefully with new (non-Bibi) JEWISH leadership that doesn’t treat Jewish blood as a consequence, these scenes will only occur in the Arab sector. I daven for that.

HYD. She is a hero, I’m sure that police were not the planned target, more likely a public place full of civilians. She and the wounded officer saved many lives.
