    Races remained too close to call in Virginia and Vermont, two other states where polls closed at 7 p.m. ET. Marco Rubio appeared to be close to Trump in Virginia, while John Kasich battled the billionaire front-runner in Vermont.

    Polls remained open in other Super Tuesday states, including Texas, where Ted Cruz faced a must-win contest in his home base.
