Jerusalem – Netanya Resident Survives Miraculous Ordeal In The Chabad House In Mumbai

Jerusalem – David Bialka, a resident of Netanya, Israel, was miraculously saved from the tragic events that occurred this past week in Mumbai, India. “The Creator of the World gave me my life anew,” Bialka tearfully related, “It was as if I was born again just yesterday.”

In an exclusive interview Mr. Bialka gave to Israel CH. 2 TV he described his ordeal, he had gone to sleep in the Chabad House at about five minutes to nine in the evening. “I was in bed, for perhaps seven minutes to ten minutes, when I heard the explosions.”

A guest of the Chabad House in Mumbai, Bialka had heard explosions from the stairwell this past Wednesday. He heard the explosions and then gunshots all around the room. First there were tens of shots, then hundreds, and then thousands of gunshots. He quickly decided to escape through the window of the bathroom and he managed to escape the building by climbing on top of pipes and the motor component of the newly installed air conditioner units.

Bialka climbed down from the fourth floor, but when he got to the second floor he ran out of air conditioners, and had to duck below the glass window climbing on a pipe so that the Islamist terrorists would not see him. He had to jump from the second floor.

His ordeal was not over, however. The Mumbai citizens captured him thinking he was a terrorist. “They almost lynched me,” Mr. Bialka related. He underwent some more beatings and was finally brought in a taxi to the police station in Mumbai. At the police station it was quickly clarified that Mr. Bialka was a victim and not a terrorist.

Mr. Bialka, arrived in Israel on Friday. Since he is a Sabbath observer he did not watch Television. Bialka tearfully related, “Apparently Rikki and Gabi the Tazaddikim were murdered.. And Mosiheke alone..remains alive..”

Bialka is home now in Netanya, trying to make sense of an event that makes no sense that was perpetrated by the inhumane cruelty of God-less terrorists. Clearly, Mr. Bialka was deeply affected by the horrific tragedy and utter cruelty of the events and the miraculous ordeal that he had undergone.
