Brooklyn, NY – Shouts Of “Heil Hitler” In Anti-Semitic Attack On Chasidic Man In Williamsburg

REUTERS/Mike Segar Brooklyn, NY – Police in the 90th Precinct are searching for an unidentified Hispanic man who threw something at a Chasidic man before shouting anti-Semitic remarks as he ran away from the scene.

    The incident took place Sunday afternoon at 1:50 PM at Grand and River Streets near Grand Ferry Park. The 36 year old Chasidic man, identified by the New York Post as Joseph Singer, was cleaning his car when he was hit in the leg by an unknown substance.

    The suspect, who fled northbound on River Street, called out to Singer “Heil Hitler. Hitler is coming to kill you Jews. He is going to burn you up.”

    The NYPD is investigating the incident as a bias crime.
