Haverstraw, NY - Woman Killed On Palisades Parkway Crash

Haverstraw, NY - A driver was killed this morning when her car smashed into a tree on the Palisades Parkway.
Police say the crash happened around 6 a.m. today on the northbound parkway between exits 13 and 14 in the Pomona section of Haverstraw.
When first responders arrived, they found 31-year-old female driver Myrian Romero of Union City, New Jersey inside a red Hyundai Elantra. It took about 20 minutes to extricate the driver, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
